We engineered our MAFEX Clone Trooper to capture every detail of the Grand Army's iconic Phase II armor from Star Wars Episode III. This 1/12 scale figure stands approximately 6 inches tall and features our proprietary articulation system with over 30 points of movement, allowing collectors to recreate any battle pose from the Clone Wars.
Each armor plate replicates the screen-used design with precision weathering and battle damage. We molded the white plastoid armor in high-grade ABS with a subtle matte finish that photographs beautifully under any lighting. The blue accent striping on the shoulder bells and helmet uses tampo printing for permanent color that won't chip or fade over time.

Articulation Engineering & Pose Range
We designed the MAFEX clone trooper articulation system to balance screen accuracy with functional movement. The torso uses a triple-ball system that allows forward crunch, back arch, and full 360-degree waist rotation without breaking the armor silhouette.
Double-jointed elbows and knees bend beyond 90 degrees for kneeling sniper poses or close-quarters combat stances. Ball-jointed hips with drop-down range let you achieve wide A-stance battle poses that other 6-inch figures cannot replicate. The ankles feature both hinge and rocker movement for stable footing on uneven terrain bases.
Weapons Arsenal & Accessories
Our clone trooper ships with the complete DC-15 weapon system used by the Grand Army. The long-barrel DC-15A blaster rifle measures 3.2 inches and includes separately molded scope details and charging port. We added a functional sling attachment point so you can position the rifle across the figure’s back during hand-to-hand poses.
The compact DC-15S carbine fits securely in either hand and features our signature hollow-barrel molding for maximum realism. Both DC-17 hand blasters include sculpted power cells on the grip and can be holstered on the figure’s thighs using friction pegs. All four weapons use metallic silver paint for the barrel interiors and bronze weathering on high-wear areas.
Armor Detail & Paint Application
Every armor plate on this figure replicates the CG models used in Revenge of the Sith. We referenced Lucasfilm archives to match the exact panel lines, vents, and surface textures of Phase II clone armor. The helmet features separately molded rangefinder, breath tubes, and vocoder grille.
Our tampo printing process applies the blue unit markings with 0.1mm precision. The shoulder bells, helmet crest, and knee guards all receive this permanent deco that survives handling and posing. We added subtle brown weathering to the boots and lower greaves to suggest planetary deployment wear.

We designed the proportions to be screen-accurate to Episode III, so the clone will appear slightly shorter than Jedi characters due to the canonical height differences. The figure scales perfectly with all MAFEX Star Wars releases and displays well alongside other premium 1/12 scale lines.
This release includes only the Phase II helmet as worn during the Clone Wars and Episode III. The Phase II design features the updated rangefinder, enhanced vocoder, and streamlined visor shape. We currently have no announced plans for a Phase I variant, but collector feedback helps guide our future release schedule. The included helmet is removable to reveal the detailed Jango Fett clone face sculpt underneath.

The armor is permanently attached to maintain structural integrity and screen-accurate proportions. Only the helmet removes via friction fit. We do not recommend disassembly as the figure uses precision-engineered joints that may not reassemble correctly. For collectors interested in custom paint applications, we suggest working with the armor as fixed pieces and using masking techniques for any customization projects.
Yes, the figure uses standard 1/12 scale hand pegs and weapon grips. Third-party blaster effects, explosion bases, and alternate weapons from companies making 6-inch accessories will fit the included hands.
