We designed the MAFEX Captain Phasma to faithfully recreate the intimidating First Order commander from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This sixth-scale action figure features our premium articulation system with over 30 points of movement, allowing you to pose Captain Phasma in combat-ready stances or commanding officer positions.
The chrome armor plating uses metallic paint application to capture the character's distinctive reflective surface, while the fabric cape adds dramatic presence to any display. We include Captain Phasma's F-11D blaster rifle and SE-44C blaster pistol, plus multiple interchangeable hands for weapon-holding and gesturing poses. Every detail from the helmet visor to the rank insignia badge has been sculpted to match the on-screen appearance.

Articulation & Poseability
Our engineering team developed the MAFEX Captain Phasma with a full range of motion that balances screen accuracy with dynamic posing capability. The double-jointed elbows and knees allow deep bends for weapon-aiming stances, while the ball-jointed torso enables commanding officer poses.
The neck articulation includes both ball joint and hinge mechanisms, letting you tilt the distinctive helmet at natural angles. We designed the shoulder armor with floating panels that move independently from the arm joints, preventing restriction during extreme poses. The ankle rockers and toe joints provide stable footing on the included display stand, essential for asymmetric action poses. Cape positioning adds another dimension—the internal wire maintains dramatic sweeps and battle-damaged draping positions.

Chrome Armor Detail
We apply multiple layers of metallic paint to achieve Captain Phasma’s signature reflective chrome finish. The base coat uses high-gloss silver, followed by clear protective coating that resists fingerprints and maintains shine during repeated handling. Battle weathering appears as subtle gray washes along armor edges and knee plates.
Fabric & Soft Goods
The cape uses a specialized fabric blend that drapes naturally at sixth scale while remaining durable through repeated posing. We finish the cape edges with precise hem stitching that matches the costume department’s original design. The internal wire frame sits close to the fabric surface, creating natural folds without visible bulk.
Weapons & Accessories
Captain Phasma ships with two blaster weapons sized accurately to the character’s loadout in The Force Awakens. The F-11D blaster rifle measures 42mm and features painted details on the barrel assembly and stock. The SE-44C blaster pistol includes a removable trigger guard and painted sighting rail.
We include six sets of interchangeable hands: fists, relaxed gesture hands, weapon-gripping hands with trigger fingers, and open palm hands for commanding poses. Each hand swaps easily via ball-peg connection at the wrist joint. The display stand uses a C-clip waist gripper and articulated support arm that adjusts to support off-balance action poses, with a diameter of 90mm providing stable footing for dynamic displays.

We recommend handling the figure by the cape or torso rather than gripping chrome armor panels directly, and avoiding contact with sharp objects or abrasive surfaces.
For cleaning, use a soft microfiber cloth with gentle circular motions. The protective clear coat maintains its shine through years of display when kept away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Captain Phasma stands approximately 160mm (6.3 inches) tall, scaling accurately to the character's height in The Force Awakens. She matches the proportion and scale of all MAFEX Star Wars sequel trilogy figures, including Kylo Ren, Rey, and First Order Stormtroopers.
The figure uses our standard MAFEX sixth-scale engineering, ensuring consistent proportions across your entire collection. When displayed together, the height differences between characters reflect their on-screen appearances accurately.
The fabric cape attaches to the figure's shoulders and is designed to remain in place during posing and display. While technically removable, we engineered the cape as an integral part of Captain Phasma's silhouette and recommend leaving it attached.
The internal wire frame allows you to shape the cape into various positions—swept back for action poses, draped forward for commanding stances, or asymmetrically positioned to suggest motion. The wire holds position reliably without sagging over time.
We include six pairs of interchangeable hands totaling twelve individual hand parts: closed fists, relaxed gesture hands, weapon-gripping hands with trigger fingers, and open palm hands for commanding gestures. Each hand connects via ball-peg joint at the wrist.
The included plastic hand-swapping tool helps remove and install hands safely without stressing the wrist pegs. We recommend storing unused hands in the original accessory baggie to prevent loss and protect the paint applications on the fingertips.
Both the F-11D blaster rifle and SE-44C blaster pistol are separate accessories that Captain Phasma holds using the weapon-gripping hands. The weapons insert into the hands' sculpted grips and remain secure during display without glue or clips.
Each weapon features painted details on barrels, stocks, and sighting mechanisms. The rifle measures 42mm in length and scales accurately to the prop used in filming. Both weapons store safely in the original packaging tray when not displayed with the figure.
Captain Phasma's ankle articulation and large foot surface area provide stable standing on flat surfaces without the display stand for neutral poses. The included stand becomes essential for dynamic action poses, single-leg stances, or positions where the cape creates off-balance weight distribution.
The stand uses a C-clip waist gripper and articulated support arm that adjusts to multiple angles. The 90mm base diameter prevents tipping during extreme poses. We recommend using the stand for any pose where the figure's center of gravity extends beyond the footprint of both feet.
We recommend using a clean, soft microfiber cloth with gentle wiping motions to remove dust from the chrome armor. Avoid compressed air, which can force dust particles across the surface and potentially create micro-scratches on the metallic finish.
For stubborn dust in helmet grooves or armor panel seams, use a clean soft-bristle makeup brush or camera lens brush with light sweeping motions. Never use water, cleaning solutions, or abrasive materials on the chrome finish, as these may damage the protective clear coat and dull the metallic sheen over time.
